Can you make money with a blog?
This is a big question people always seem to ask so I'm here to answer! Yes, you can make money with a blog, but it's not something that's for everyone.
First of all you need a blog. You can get a free blog at Blogger or you can use wordpress whatever you want. Personally I like Blogger it's easy to use and even someone who may not be the most computer literate person in the world can use it easily. From there choose a topic and start to blog.
But, how do I make money you may ask? Most people make money by posting about topics for various companies. To do this you must create accounts and meet the minimum requirements when you submit your blog.
One of my favorite sites is Pay Per Post. (The link is in my sidebar) This is an easy site to use, but they do require your blog to be 30 days old and have at least 10 posts.
Another site I like that allows you to make money right away is Today. (The link is in the sidebar) They pay $1-$5 for your 1st 100 word post per day. They also pay for each unique visitor per day. On this site you create your own "today" blog instead of submitting your current one. They allow you to have 2 paid blogs on their site.
The best advice I can give you about blogging is stick with it. It's not a overnight money maker. When you do start making money it starts out slow and builds over time. The opportuny is there though, so jump in and write, write, write!

Writing
I have been writing recently for Ehow. I have to say it's a lot of fun and a good way to earn a little extra money.
At first I couldn't think of anything to write about. I put it off and then realized, it can be anything. Everyone knows something. Be it something small or something more difficult.
Give it a try it's free to sign up and a lot of fun! Or have you already tried it comment here! What do you like about it? What do you hate about it?

Smorty
Just a quick post to let you all know I added the link to Smorty in my sidebar, as requested! I got a brief chance last night to review the site. It was pretty easy to navigate. Although I haven't worked for them yet, it seems very much like Pay Per Post, which we all know is my absolute favorite! So check it out or if you work with Smorty already leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Blogging Addict!
Ok I admit it, I am totally addicted to blogging! It seems like lately everything I see I think "oh that would be a good blog topic" I write every night and somtimes even during the day.
I'm very excited that I am starting to make money doing this! One of my blog's for the first week of October is up over $100! I was very thrilled with that since this blog was new to making money! While Pay Per Post is still my favorite site, I was recently approved at Smorty, which I will be checking out tonight. I am also applying to a couple of more review sites tonight too.
Keep checking back for the best work at home opportunies I can find as I will update about each company I work with!

Job Layoffs!?!
The big news around here lately is job layoffs. A couple weeks ago our big GM plant was notified that they will officially shut down December 31st. It effected a lot of smaller suppliers who have had to close thier doors because of this.
Now it has been announced that the compnay I work for will be doing layoffs. This economy is horrible. I work for a very large company that has been around for over a hundred years. This is the first time they have had to layoff.
It makes it even more important for me to become more stable with my alternative income. My company has set aside 50 million for serverance, thankfully, so I plan t concentrate a lot on working from home. There is a lot of negativity around here lately, but I have to say as far as I'm concerned this may be the kick in the a** I need. I may not know what's around the corner, but things happen for a reason. This may be a blessing in disguise.
