Kids and Cold

I know I hate getting out of bed when it's cold out, but my kids are horrible. This is the one thing I hate about the winter. We are ALWAYS running late!

Mara is usually a morning person, but if she's cold in the morning she turns into a terror. This morning we argued over what she was going to wear. I wanted her to wear sweats so she was warm. However, she through a fit wanting to wear a skirt so I allowed it with a long sleeve shirt and jacket. She's happy for now. Until we are running at least 10 minutes late and walk outside!

I don't know about you but it seems the colder it is the harder the mornings are and with a 5 year old and a 7 year old, no matter how early we get up we are always LATE! If it's not one of them it's the other!
